ITI Timspec was established in 1990 as a wholesaler of specialty timber which is wholly New Zealand owned and committed to provide uncompromising service combined with value, visuals and versatility. In March 2019 Timspec LTD was acquired by ITI LTD and so Timspec is now called ITI Timspec LTD. As a part of greater organisation (ITI LTD), we try to deliver good quality timber on time and aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours. We work hard to build great working relationships with our customers and suppliers and we are known for our service in the industry. ITI Timspec only source timber from the best mills and lumber yards from different parts of the world.
Today we import, export, and wholesale a huge range of timber to builders, joiners, home owners, floor layers, landscape builders and furniture manufacturers. We pride ourselves on being very environmentally responsible and strive to source the most sustainable timber options available. Timber stocked include species from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand's exotic as well as indigenous species. (Go to species encyclopedia)

The Accoya bevel-back weatherboards provided an ideal solution for this beachfront home. The stability of the product provided great peace of mind regarding durability and performance while the ability to apply dark colours provided excellent design freedom. The coastal tradition of weatherboard cladding had been maintained while allowing the flexibility of a modern form and aesthetic.
