Radiata Pine Traditionally used cladding species and is good for paint quality. Fast grown medium density soft wood commonly used for cladding, venner, plywood and construction lumber. Western Red Cedar A Premium durable timber known for its superior stability, for doors, windows, louvers, exterior cladding, weatherboards, shakes and shingles, nothing performs as well as Western Red Cedar in these situations. Yellow Cedar Yellow Cedar is a bright timber, ranging in colour from soft yellow to light brown. Sapwood occurs as a very narrow band and is almost white to yellowish white.
